I have been away checking out Dinner Plains in the High Country for a while to show the kids what snow really is, so I do hope you did not miss me. Truth be told there was only a small patch of snow left at Dinner Plain, but the bus up to Mt Hotham was a swift 10 minute ride and there was plenty of snow to be enjoyed there. Again truth be told, I was not skiing or snow boarding as I would have liked but due to my recent neck issue I was on drinks and coffee tasting duties. Which also included the hefty responsibilities of finding hats, scarves, coats, gloves and goggles. Not so easy with a coffee in one hand and a schnapps in the other.
A great time was had by all but as usual not without one or two hiccups.
Towards the end of our adventure each of us picked up our own special version of gastro. Were we blessed that it was on the way home? I am beginning to think that maybe I should have just employed a full-time nurse this year or maybe a Mr Fix everything up type like Mr Wolfe from Pulp Fiction.
Anyway lets get to the important business of my art and your appreciation of my art.
